How Do I Optimise the Roster?

Once all required parameters have been set, the roster is created by clicking the Optimise button (Daitum logo) on the top toolbar.

During optimisation, a dialog box will show progress. The user can cancel this process at any time and use the results calculated so far.

The change in objective relates to the improvements in results over time. As is shown in the graph above, major improvements will be made early in the process.

Optimisation may take some time, and your Daitum session may expire during the process. If so, simply log in again and you will be returned to the application. Any completed work will not be lost.
