New Features
Breaks for non-contact staff
System now generates breaks for non-contact staff. The information is passed to Humanforce when ‘Publish Roster’ is chosen from the menu.
Note: These breaks may not align with the preferred actual break time but are intended to provide guidance and eliminate the need to update Humanforce manually with that information.
Break Cover Report - Beta release
A new break cover report has been developed to simplify break cover assignments. Once allocated you can print the run sheet so people know where they need to be.
This report is available to a limited set of centres to solicit feedback on usability and effectiveness, in preparation for a wider availability in a subsequent release.
Humanforce Activity Coding
The ‘Activities ' view now has a ‘Roster Export Name’ that can be populated. This will be the value passed to Humanforce to 'code’ the time against an activity, saving time manually entering this information. Where possible, Daitum has defaulted the information for known activities, but some centres may need to specify additional information for their custom activities.
Compliance View
The Compliance view now shows 2 decimal places to eliminate rounding.
New metrics to assist with understanding roster quality.
The totals from the compliance view are now exported as metrics. Additionally the total number of staff and the total number of staff that have fixed start times on the ‘Shift Lengths’ view.
Other Duties View
The 'Other Duties' view had blank rows with zeros in them. these have been cleaned up so it doesn’t cause a distraction
Bug fixes:
Open / Close markers were showing when people were on leave.
Fine-tuned the quota calculations for activities.
Better handling of leave in hours calculations for non contact staff.
The contracted hours calculation would not account for leave, overstating the non-compliance.
In some cases system was allocating shifts to casuals when they could be given to full time / part time staff.
Optimiser would sometimes leave rosters 15 minutes short at the end of a shift.
Better handling of incorrectly entered leave entries.
Target Hours metrics were not including contact time for non-contact staff in some cases.
